We provide you with access to institutional investors in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Our common goal is new assets. In order to reach this goal in an effective and cost-efficient way, we will concentrate on two key issues: Product positioning and sales.
Product Positioning
Proper product positioning is a central element to motivate investors to make large investments. After cooperation has been agreed upon, we will thoroughly check the portfolio manager’s sales and marketing strategy. The check includes product design, existing documentation and the type of existing customer relationships. Our goal is to identify the portfolio manager’s value proposition and to position it in the market. In case changes to content and form are necessary in the marketing material, we formulate recommendations addressed to the management and control implementation with external marketing professionals using an agreed budget.
Sales
We will do everything we can to fulfil your expectations of our sales management. You can depend on the fact that we bring in the highest levels of practical and theoretical expertise to understand products and also investor needs. We have many years of experience and know when the portfolio manager should approach the investor. We know how precious a portfolio manager’s time is. His time is spent most effectively when creating added value for the investors. Our tools in the sales process:

Contractual Framework
The typical length of the contract reflects our experience that the acquisition of significant customer assets requires time in order to spread the investment manager’s message in the market and to establish a sales pipeline, enabling us to reach common goals. Swiss Funds Distributors and its partners have the trust, and the track record needed to increase assets under management successfully. As a logical consequence we agree to a compensation agreement, covering a fixed part and additionally a major performance-based component, thus aligning our interests. The fixed compensation is much lower than comparable costs arising when establishing one’s own sales organisation for successful market penetration in Switzerland.
